WELCOME

Welcome to Tylers Green First School. We hope you have an excellent time. We have lots of fun at Tylers Green First School. We hope you have a good time with the new friends you will meet. We will make sure you are cared for. Please come to our school!

There are lots of fun after school activities including Drama. Have a go at Maypole and Country dancing. We are looking forward to meeting you ,

LIBRARY

Come to our cosy and comforting library. We have shelves packed with books. In our library we have non-fiction and story books. We also use the Dewey system. Our library is a shady light green. We have squashy bean bags to sit on and we also have some quite smooth cushions.

MUSIC AND DANCE

MAYPOLE DANCING

Have a go at the Maypole dancing. There are two dances. One is called the Spider's Web and the other one is called the Barber's Pole. The spider's Web makes its pattern by plaiting like a spider's web. The Barber's Pole makes a twisty pattern.

MUSIC ROOM

Thee music room is where the teachers take their classes to learn about music. In the Music room you can find shakers, drums and even a xylophone.

COUNTRY DANCING

Every year the teachers take their class to the Common and they perform a country dance. If one class is dancing the rest of the school sits quietly and watches the class that is dancing.

RULES AND FUN

At school on Fridays we have Golden Time. Golden Time is when we have lots of fun. We get out puzzles, Playmobil and drawing. It is a reward for all our hard work on all the other days of the week

GOLDEN RULES

We have Golden Rules that everyone has to follow or they have to miss 5 minutes of playtime or Golden Time. This is what they say:

Do be kind and gentle

Do be kind and helpful

Do be honest.

Do work hard

Do listen to people

Do look after property.

ROOMS

CLASSROOMS

If you are a new child you will have a classroom. In your new cosy classroom you might have a class of 30.If you have a class of 30 THERE ARE LOTS OF FREINDS TO MAKE! In class you might be able to have  a partner and you could choose you r very best friend!

HALL

In he Hall you can have lots of fun because you can do P.E. You put on your PE kit and join in the PE lessons. Also in the Hall you can practise Maypole dancing and do the real thing on the Common.

AFTER SCHOOL

After school you can do really fun after School Clubs.  They start at 3 o'clock and end at 4o'clock.1 hour of fun. You can go to a Chips drama session, French , Spanish, Tennis and Dance and Exercise.

OUTSIDE

PLAYGROUND

In the playground you can do anything you like except push or shove in the grey fun playground. You can play games like 'Duck, Duck Goose' or you can go on the brown climbing frame.

FIELD

On the field it's very green with swishy grass. On the field you can also make daisy chains and sit on a wooden bench .You can also eat lunch on the swishy green field or the grey fun playground.

MEDICAL ROOM

The Medical Room is where you go if you cut your knee or bruise your head. If someone pushed or pinched you, tell your teacher and she might take you to the medical Room.
