Dear Parents

I am writing to advise you that Mrs Styles has gone into hospital today for an operation.  She is planning to return to school next Wednesday.  In the meantime, if you have any  concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me via the school office.
 
Whilst the current warm weather is of course very welcome, please can you ensure that your child has a sun hat in school.  The children spend 20 minutes at morning break and at least half of their lunchtime hour out of doors, whilst at suitable times they will also have their lunch picnic-style on the playground or field.  It is suggested that you may also wish to apply sun tan lotion prior to your child coming into school.   We are unfortunately unable to put this on during the day.

Not wishing to tempt fate but to cope with the vagaries of an English Summer, please don’t forget to ensure your child brings in a coat everyday, as often the weather changes from hour to hour.  Thank you.

We are very grateful to everyone who has been sending in Tesco computer vouchers.  This was the last week of this year’s offer and we are hopeful that by combining this year’s tokens with last year’s, we will have collected enough for a new computer.  So any further tokens you may have will be very welcome.
